Sia for short; she is the only daughter of the King of the Gods. The single memory of her childhood meeting with Rin has brought her to the Human world. Bright and energetic, her outgoing personality lets her talk at ease with anyone she meets and easily set the mood in conversation. She is good at housework and sports, but studying isn’t her forte. She is also known to beat her father with a chair from time to time if he gets out of control.
Rin for short; she is the only daughter of the King of the Devils. Like Lisianthus, the memories of her childhood with Rin have brought her to the Human world. She is proper, modest, and reserved, but the moment someone makes a fool out of Rin, she won’t hesitate to release her magic. She also possesses a beautiful voice, dubbed ”Angel’s Bell”, but she actually dislikes singing.
Kaede is Rin’s childhood friend. Her mother passed away in the same accident that claimed Rin’s parents and they’ve been living under the same roof ever since. Like Rin, she attends Verbena Academy and they happen to be classmates. Clear-headed, good at every sport, great looks, and excellent at housework, she is the perfect woman and an idol to many throughout the Academy. However, she frequently prioritizes Rin to the point that she neglects herself.
A senior at Verbena Academy, Asa is in the cooking club with Kaede. As a result, she and Rin share a love-hate relationship (though they’re more like bad company to each other). She is responsible and diligent, but also cheerful and quick to join in. However, she also has a lesser-known tendency to depend on others. She enjoys hard work and eating cake, but has a strange dislike for magic.
Prim for short; she is an artificial life-form developed by a joint venture between the worlds of the Gods and the Devils. After all the stories she heard about Rin, she grew curious and came to the Human world. She doesn’t talk much and is extremely bad at socializing. Essentially, she doesn’t display any desires, expressions, or interests (except for cats). Once she meets Rin her personality begins to slowly change.

I have been in love with Shuffle! ever since I saw the anime. The visual novel gives more detail to the characters than I feel the anime could provide. It is a good read and I loved every bit of it. I've come to like characters that I couldn't stand in the anime, and that was a pleasant surprise.
One of the first VNs I bought, and still one of my favorites. It has its issues though.
Story is pretty good. Medium length, I finished it in a day. The backstory of three worlds coming together pretty unique, but it still boils down to a fairly typical school romance. The highlight is of course the personal stories in the routes for each girl. These are mostly well done, but I must say that two of the routes are STRIKINGLY similar.
The characters are also very good. Each heroine is quite different from the others and lovable in their own way. The side characters also have a lot of personality, they add a lot to the game.
All in all I'm really looking forward to the sequels/fandiscs.
Shuffle provides an unforgettable experience for anyone that plays the game. The story is deep, the characters are emotional, and though it is fiction it relates a lot to the personal lives of people. It is most definitely worth the price, and you will never regret buying it.
Shuffle! Is a very good Visual Novel well worth the money spent to play it. I say this based on my personal preferences and they are all related to story, for that is what a visual novel is to me, a story. Well that and ecchi stuff but mostly story.
1. Story: I start with story, because, it's why I like VN's in the first place. The differing story lines all properly branch out and fully flesh out the main character and the heroines personality and attraction for one another. It also shows the effect on the other heroines feeling as he gets closer to one of the heroines. Make it seem like these are real characters not paper people.
2. Protagonist: The protagonist, you play as isn't as paper thin as other VN's protagonists are. He has a good background and actually isn't in going for the relationship for the sex. He actually works (well you) for the girl by actually caring about the heroines. Help for an all around better experience when the stories protagonist has a history to pull from.
3. Heroines: The heroines are all diverse from each other in many ways, in both personality and backgrounds. They are all connected to the protagonist by different past experiences that make them seek him out. Some are rather dark, and others are less so. They also have problems that must solved and handled with the protagonists help for the story to continue. Though the story really helps solve them for you. But still it is fun to watch it all play out.
As you can see to me what gives this a 4/5 is the story for that is what I care about most. I give a 4 out of 5 for the face that I have seen better stories but this is still a must for people to play. I consider this one worth a go through if you don't mind sexual themes and acts portrayed on it. Can even be considered gate-way drug for this is the first one a actually played that got me in to Visual novels.
A perfect VN u*
I'm no good with reviews,so I say who SHUFFLE! is a VN with a perfect history and role, and all chars are much charismatic, can't wait for the expansion Essence+ *-*
