The Story

The Tokiwa village is surrounded by the ocean and the mountains.
Tokiwa, "never changing", the village was named. Even in this "never changing" village, the season is changing to summer.
When the "no-name" girl ran through the village while ringing the little bell on her hat, the red strings of fate entangled……

>>The first chapter

AkiraKazama came back to the memory filled Tokiwa village with his mother.When he visited the shrine, he was reunited with Itsuki Minase……. Thereunion brought back all kinds of memories from the past.

Itsuki,Itsuki's twin sister Sayo, and Akira……their encounters and farewells.As their past and the present interlace, what does the fate bring forthem…?

SayakaShirakawa's father is a painter. All the village people think he issuch an odd character. Sayaka's one and only enjoyment is to paint withSouji Kamishiro who is the only person she can open up to.

Beingrebellious with her father, longing for her deceased mother, and herfeelings toward Souji……. Their summer is being painted on the blankcanvas along with the blooming sunflowers.

>>The third chapter

Yoshikazu Masaki was starting to feel a little awkwardness with her girlfriend, Touko Kyouya, which has something to do with his sister, Akane Masaki.
While going through counseling sessions, that awkwardness has become his dark spotin his heart which grew bigger and bigger.
The relationship between Akane, Touko, and Yoshikazu started to head to an unexpected direction.

>>The fourth chapter

Hiroshi Inaba left home because he didn't want to be tied down with the old family tradition. When he heard his father has become seriously ill, he came back to his home village, Tokiwa village, on the star festival night. That's when he met the mysterious girl who was holding a black stuffed animal cat.

Wearing black clothes and a black hat, the girl didn't remember her own name. However, as he spends more time with the girl and her stuffed animal cat, Archimedes who could understand what people are saying, her identity starts to become more clear. The special summer for Hiroshi has just begun.

"I'm so glad I got to see you again……"

The letter.
The main character and Itsuki broke up once.
When that happened, she gave the letter to the main character.
In it, there were one apology and one wish.

<The first chapter/Itsuki's twin sister>Sayo Minase

Itsuki's twin sister. Unlike her older sister, she is very sociable and cheerful.

She would stand up for the sense of justice. She has a personality to be a leader but sometimes she acts before she thinks.

She also had special feelings toward Akira, but……

<The second chapter/heroine>Sayaka Shirakawa

Because of the eccentric father who paints "death" as the theme, she gets shunned by the people.

Despite the fragile and weak appearance, she is actually very strong and full of emotions so even when she gets picked on, she really isn't bothered too much.

She is very quick-witted but doesn't do too well academically. In fact, her grade is rather in the low range………If she continues this way, she probably won't be able to move on to the next grade so she hires the main character from the second chapter as her tutor.

She loves scarecrows and jewelries but hates sunflowers.

<The second chapter/The very energetic younger friend>Mie Wakabayashi

She has a special feelings toward Souji.

Loud and noisy.

She is sarcastic and always jumping into conclusions.

She is honest to her feelings.

<The third chapter/heroine>Akane Masaki

"I hate my past"

There are three important things in her life.
Her sister Touko,
her brother,
and swimming.

When they are all gone, what would I do? Also what would she do?

A feeling of relief. A feeling of conviction.

I am always seeking for such a relief and a conviction.

<The fourth chapter/heroine>The girl without a name

A very eccentric looking girl. Her name, age, nationality are all unknown.
She prowls around the village looking for something.

Despite her appearance, she acts very maturely, however, sometimes her conversation takes place in a different era.

In her mind, $1.00 =360 Yen

She has an unbelievably huge appetite. She even grills her favorite, corn on a cob, herself and enjoys it.

She is always holding her stuffed animal cat, "Archimedes".

Basic behavior:She appears to be mature but she could be childish. She is always curious and hungry so she can be easily lured.

She has cold eyes, and whenever she has spare time, she smokes. She looks cool, but she is very sensitive. She possesses two sided personality.

She pops up everywhere in the village and gives warnings and predictions.

The fourth chapter main character -- Hiroshi Inaba's sister.

She is in love with Archimedes.

She is very courageous.

She is suffering from a serious heart defect, so she can't even get out of bed.

She is truly happy about her brother's homecoming.
