Sakura Ichika
A kind, responsible girl with endless patience, Ichika is an exemplary student and a member of the Student Council. More down-to-earth than Futaba, she tends to stubbornly consider only the facts rather than consulting her feelings when making decisions.
Taking care of Futaba has long since become part of Ichika’s daily routine, and the sight of Futaba’s smile is always enough to make Ichika smile in return.
Although Futaba and Ichika are twins, Ichika sees herself as the older sister. Since she mostly acts on logic rather than her own feelings, she has trouble facing her love for Futaba.
Ichika has secretly been fretting that, even though she and Futaba are twins, they won’t be able to stay together forever, so her mother’s warning sets Ichika on a path of distancing herself from Futaba.
”You can’t tell anyone else about us kissing and sleeping together, okay? It’s our little secret.”

|
Sakura Futaba
A happy-go-lucky ball of energy who doesn’t let common sense get in the way of her feelings, Futaba is not the brightest bulb in the box.
Futaba always trusts her emotions, so she makes no attempt to hide her love for Ichika, showing it in word and deed. Whether in the privacy of their house or in the school hallways, Futaba will hold Ichika’s hand, or give her a hug, or even lick her ear at times. Fortunately, Futaba’s friends and family tend to dismiss that as part of her outgoing nature, so they don’t think much of it.
Futaba is a natural athlete and a member of the tennis club. Her grades aren’t the best, but that doesn’t bother her much since she can always rely on Ichika for help.
Ichika starts to distance herself from Futaba after their mother’s warning, but this only leaves Futaba confused. Why is Ichika acting so weird? Futaba makes it her mission to get their relationship back on track.
”I’m going to show you just how much I love you, so don’t take your eyes off me, okay?”

Mikage Yuri
The twins’ childhood friend and a classmate of Ichika’s, Yuri is the easygoing, freewheeling sort, though her jokes make her sound like a dirty old man.
She enjoys ogling girls’ panties and takes great pride in her role helping along the development of Saki’s breasts. Gifted with keen intuition, Yuri is always there for her friends when they need her, even if they themselves don’t know it.
She’s a smart girl, but she conks out after the slightest bit of exercise. Yuri is a member of the literature club and something of an otaku.
Yuri is the darling of their all-girls school, especially to the underclassmen, and often finds love letters in her locker. She enjoys--no, she revels in being so popular.
”Saki and I have been best friends with you two since kindergarten. So, you know, we pick up on these things.”
|
|
Kohinata Saki
The twins’ childhood friend and a classmate of Futaba’s, Saki is a talented cook who pampers her friends with all the love and warmth of a new bride. Her deep concern for her friends leads her to being overprotective, and she can be as fierce as a mother cat with her kittens when it comes to any perceived threat.
Saki is a member of the tennis club, and despite her docile appearance, she’s a gifted athlete.
Since they’re in both the same club and the same class, Saki looks out for Futaba when Ichika isn’t around.
”It’s not every day you see such close sisters. You two look more like a pair of lovers.”

Best Yuri
imoutolover One of the best yuri out there. |
Love it !
eibon06 A good reading. It's full yuri. There is no doubt in the feeling they are sharing, IT'S LOVE. And we see it all trough the game. |
Love a good Yuri story
Sailormars18 I'm a huge yuri fan and I'm always in search of new yuri visual novels to play. I came across this one and I was very interested in it so I decided to give it a shot and buy it.
All I have to say is I don't regret buying it. This game is very good. I loved the characters, the story, the voice acting, and the sex scenes are very steamy. The art and character designs are really good too. This visual novel is very cute and throughout the game I just always had a smile on my face. I was very invested in this game so much that I actually took the time to go back and unlock all the scenes and CG images. I usually don't do that with visual novels so that's saying something. There are 4 different routes to go through, 2 good endings and 2 bad endings. The good endings are very cute while the bad endings are crazy. The bad endings were actually very memorable in this game. I'm not gonna spoil anything, but just know these bad endings are totally worth unlocking. (Save Ichika's bad ending for last.)
My only complaint about this game overall is that I wish there was more! This game is pretty short but it was still enjoyable. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes yuri and doesn't mind the whole incest thing. Another thing I would like to say is definitely keep an eye on that meter on the status tab if you do play this game, because to be honest the first time I played this game I didn't even know it existed. Oops. |
♥
Marionette I'll be frank in admitting I don't really like purchasing Visual Novels, it is precious money that I would rather put towards other things.
But this game really is an exception for me: The art is a clear labor of love easily investing you in the characters from appearance alone, they're cute, the designs are simple, but memorable, and the writing while succinct is powerful!
The inherent struggle of our primary protagonists which fuels the desire to see them prevail against the chains of taboo. You feel their plight, and you want them to succeed!
And let me emphasize the wonderful voice acting that captures the distress, the passion, squeezing the empathy of your mortal body. I love it! Love it! Love it! I would give these VAs medals if I could.
But! The biggest flaw, and what I think holds this game back is simply the length. This game is not long, it is excruciatingly short. It's like having an appetizer as your main meal; I understand good art and voice-acting is incredibly costly, but I was left hungering for so much more and Sisterly Bliss just left me wanting.
I am really looking forward to further updates from this developer, and I really hope to see these characters make a return as highly unlikely as it sounds. At the very least, something within the same genre would happily have my dollar. |
YURI
kerstinljohnson This game is so cute and sexy. I love it so much. The story makes my heart smile. :) |
Fluffy but Surprising
Rifci Lovely visual novel about two identical twin sisters, though that's not much of a difficult feat to achieve given how few yuri incest stuff are out there (fewer still readable in English).
The art style is amazing, and conveys the sense of softness that the story has (mostly). The music is decent, but props to the opening theme; it's catchy and fits the mood of these lovers. Voice acting is good overall.
A gimmick of Sisterly Bliss that slightly sets it apart from the read-only standard VN is the relationship gauge. It's a scale between the twins that constantly tilts in a direction depending on your plot choices, and where it ends up determines which of the endings you'll get. So keep an eye on that relationship status if there's a specific ending you're going for. The nice thing about this is that you can pick whichever story choices you want without it specifically funneling you to an ending you don't want, as long as the gauge is still tilting towards the ending you DO want.
On that note, the endings are all at least good. The good endings are heartfelt and satisfying. The bad endings are... Well, it'd be a disservice if you don't experience them. The amount of effort put into the bad endings alone is worth seeing them.
Overall I love it, despite it not quite expanding on its themes of homosexuality and incest as much as I'd like. But it's very clearly not just being an eroge game only. A shame since I wanted more, and there's just not enough yuri incest in the world, much less one about identical twins.
For its price, considering its short length and the history of its English translation project, I feel like it leans a tad too much on the high side. It's still worth it for the cuteness alone, and to support more of this subgenre. A must-have alongside Candy Boy.
PS: The "Family" tag definitely does NOT belong here. Needs at least "School", "Romance", and "Incest". |
A Yuri VN of Various Flavors!
thevoidyvoid *Minor spoilers* In Sisterly Bliss, there is a status bar that can be viewed from the menu that shows you how tilted your choices are in favor of one girl's emotions over another. According to the game, you should try your best to keep these emotions in balance! And well, that's true to an extent; if you want that sweet, precious yuri story we all know and love, where they end up happily together and have lovely lesbian sex at the end, you should probably do as they say.
But if you're a rebel like me and decide to throw things completely out of wack... well, let's just say things can quickly take a rather dark turn. I was extremely (and pleasantly) surprised to find that this title was my first yandere Yuri experience. Yes, you read that right.
Anyways... for your first play-through, I recommend doing as the game tells you and paying attention to that status bar. Then you can enjoy your happy Yuri-fic ending and shelve this away for another rainy day. Then again, maybe you're a sadistic bastard like me and you'll enjoy going back to... er, tip the scales a bit.
The choice is yours! ^_^ |
Glorious Bad Ends
restricted12345 If you're someone who only wants to go for good endings in a visual novel, Sisterly Bliss is okay. There are sweet moments, some lewd, and some decent character development. It's a bit more dramatic than in the Kiss for the Petals series, but not exceedingly so. I'd say get it on a sale since the good ending content doesn't have quite enough to justify the price.
Futaba good ending > Ichika good ending
If you are willing to have fun with the bad endings though, then this visual novel is worth every penny. It's interesting as to what a few bad choices can instigate, but I won't spoil that for you. I'd personally suggest to save Ichika's bad ending for last, but both are worth playing.
Ichika bad ending > Futaba bad ending
I only wish that there were more visual novels with worthwhile bad endings. |
