Akitsu Madoka
Shinji’s childhood friend.
Though she possesses no special powers, she’s always by Shinji’s side. Her hobby is cycling, which she usually does with Shinji. They’ve been together since early childhood and so the two thought it was only natural for their relationship to advance to the next stage sooner or later.
|
|
Kiritou Kureha
A girl that possesses special powers to hunt the aberrations known as bodachs.
Feeling that protecting Sakuranomori is her mission, she fights monsters day and night all by herself, but forms a team with Shinji once the two meet. Being constantly busy with her ”work” she’s worried about the fact she never had the time to form relationships with the opposite sex--she has a penchant for wearing traditional clothes.

Shizumiya Mahoro
Kureha’s friend and upperclassmen in school.
Though she possesses no special fighting powers, she’s able to connect dreams and reality, allowing Kureha and others to dive into their battlefield. Usually quiet and gentle, she used to bed-ridden for much of her youth, but has since recovered.
|
|
Erisaka Mifuyu
A girl that possesses similar powers to Kureha.
At one point they worked as a team and were thought to be best friends, but ended up parting ways over a disagreement. She belongs to the arts club, and usually wears a lab coat. Though she likes any kind of painting, scenery is her favorite.

Fukigami Hatsune
Shinji’s cousin by blood, but a stepsister as far as their official family relationship goes.
A good-natured girl that tends to put the needs of others above her own, though then that might only be true in case of Shinji. Having no special powers, she’s unable to help Shinji in battle, and though she understands his resolve, constantly begs him to stay out of danger.
|
|
Fukigami Shinji
A young man that can see bodachs and ghosts.
He’s certain that he’s been given his unusual powers for a reason, and so he puts his heart and soul into investigating the strange happenings in his city.

Please translate the sequel!
Archangel_Michael An absolute hidden gem among horror visual novels, a very emotional and entertaining story and all endings have their own charm, one of the best visual novels I've played in a long time. |
Please localize the sequel!
Shi-chan Really great VN. The story kept me engaged. I really like the characters, and the soundtrack is amazing too. Right now I'm really hoping MangaGamer gives us a sequel. |
129dqt
thinhdqt129 the best VN.i hope mangagamer will take in sakuranomori dreamer 2 soon!!! |
MOONSTON can do better!
SuperTris117 This VN is very unique for a MOONSTONE game. The common route goes for a horror/thriller provide a very good and engaging experience that makes you want to continue on without stopping. Unfortunately when it comes to heroine routes it is extremely disappointing, you can see shortcuts and and disregard for the rest previous atmosphere. There are reused backgrounds from previous works. There is not enough heroine character development before you get to the H-scenes, they feel very rushed almost like there was a time crunch before release. Everything that the common route developed for the characters seems to be dropped and almost seem out of character. Overall I will recommend this game just for the common route and the H-Scenes, but as a MOONSTONE fan, I feel like they can do so much better. I hope they make a sequel and put in the proper care for it. |
Next Part PLS
Jimmy24 This is a visual novel where all charcters are well done. Music does really fit (good job Denkare) and Artwork/Artstyle is really enjoyable to watch. I finished it not long time ago and I already want the next part. Im buying it for sure! Still have to do all routes for endings and cgs, but that what i saw, im satisfied. |
A Must for Horror Fans
v2freak2150 Wow, what can I say. This game is a must-have for fans of horror plots, great art and great story-telling. It helps that the protagonist isn't a bonehead, too.
I have no criticisms of this game. It holds your attention from beginning to end. To tell the truth, I was saddened after completing it because I felt like I had accompanied the characters on their trials.
Moonstone hit this one out of the ballpark. Give us the sequel! I will pre-order it on the spot. |
Zell
whitenig Really nice novel. Visuals, story, audio and the overal atmosphere seems pretty fine. I hope Sakuranomori Dreamers 2 will be localized too. |
Really Exceptional
Ross128 This is an excellent VN and well worth the asking price. The story is cute, heartwarming, funny, and chilling by turns. The characters go well beyond typical stereotypes. The art and music are a cut above. |
Give me the 2. game pls!
Taiketsu After just having finished the game i can say i really liked the story. It was well thought out and the pacing was ok and i didnt feel bored. The artstyle was my favorite of the 3 Moonstone games i read so far and the soundtrack was also never boring or too repetitive. Madoka is without doubt the best heroine in my book and cant wait to see her again if you folks at MG bring us the 2. game. After the common route the story/heroine route get a bit "worse" in terms of pacing and writting but i still liked the overall game.
Overall i can recommend this game to horror/thriller fans and can only hope we will see the sequel quite soon to get the whole story finished and see Madoka again D: |
