The protagonist of this story. By way of a ritual called Dragon Synergy (which is essentially sex), he can give his sexual partners a supernatural energy called Sex Power.
Although not initially aware of it himself, he’s lined up to become the 23rd master of the ninja clan known as the Crescent Moons, and fated to fight Noroi. Upon Haruka’s appearance, he was determined, if not bewildered by the revelations, to fight the Noroi Faction.
Haruka Takamori
A Blade, the title given to the Crescent Moons’ strongest kunoichis, who chased after Noroi from the past into the future. For Takamaru’s protection, and to study the current world herself, she began to attend Jippou Academy. Most of the time, she’s just a normal girl observing modern society and trying to fit in. Despite being in the same year of school as Takamaru, she’s actually older than he is.
Her talent is so great that she achieved the rank of Blade far faster than most, but she could never bring herself to cross the line of giving her past master her chastity, leaving her not truly a Blade at the time she arrived in the modern age.
While normally a kind, warm, big-hearted girl, she becomes an elegant warrior in battle.
Narika Shihoudou
A girl three years younger than Takamaru, and the daughter of his landlord and the head of the dojo he attends, Seigen Shihoudou. Actually a member of the Crescent Moons, she didn’t initially participate in combat, but certain circumstances led to her becoming a Blade and throwing herself into a life of sex and fighting.
Though well practiced in martial arts, her personality is that of a normal girl, and she particularly loves anything sweet. She’s hit on around town frequently enough to be aware of how cute she is, but still has feelings of inferiority when put next to Haruka’s body and personality. Albeit cold at times, she’s a caring girl at heart and has positive feelings for Takamaru.
Subaru
A Blade of the Crescent Moons, as well as Haruka’s close friend and senior kunoichi. During the effort to stop the Noroi Faction from traveling to the future, she lost to one
of their leaders, Ittou Hagane, after which she was imprisoned in Castle Infinity.
Ittou Hagane
The Tetra Sealer swordsman known as the White Guardian. Albeit ranked as the Noroi Faction’s second-in-command, he’s rumored to be its strongest member. When Haruka and Subaru tried to stop the time leap in the past, he severed one of Subaru’s arms, displayed his overwhelming superiority. His chosen name itself means ’Sword’, as he sees himself as the sword cleaving its way to his ideals.
Orochimaru
The Tetra Sealer known as the Blue Guardian.
The newest member of the Tetra Sealers, he strongly opposes anyone who claims to fight for justice and sees the Blades as his rivals.
Kikyou-dayu
The Tetra Sealer known as the Red Guardian. Unlike the other Tetra Sealers, she’s driven purely by ego, and her self-obsession itself gives her great power.
Ensai Mukuroi
One of the Tetra Sealers, the four leaders of the Noroi Faction, as well as its founder. His title is the Black Guardian. A blind monk, his eyes produce a constant stream of bloody tears. He founded the Noroi Faction to achieve True Eternity, his ideal for the world in which peace is created through fear.

Wow, I bought this on a whim and I'm glad I did. Please bring us the rest of the series
Really enjoyed it
FriskyD
Really enjoyed this game. As a fan of non-vanilla and more of the rapey type games, this game delivered. It has a lot of varying scenes. Most are indeed vanilla and loving, but if you desire, you can go down some dark depraved routes. Gameplay becomes a bit stale, but it was always exciting seeing the next story scene and of course, sex scene. Though the game has so much sex in it, it can become stale and you may end up skipping a the dialogue just to get through.
One of the best

Definitely one of the best title on MangaGamer. Can be a bit grindy but easy enough to playthrough it a couple of times or find a full save.
Great title from Alicesoft!

Like other games from Alicesoft, Beat Blades Haruka is a fun game to play on top of being an adult game. Having gameplay mechanics built into the H-scenes (or is it vice-versa? not sure how to say it) creates great, satisfying fun and good replay value. I can only hope that Mangagamer licenses and translates more from Alicesoft.. great games!
Awesome

Bought the game the moment I saw who was translating it, great game and great team. Keep up the good work.
Game is so much fun
Kisaragi
Top notch game, and I can't say much more. Still having a bit of trouble figuring out all of the True Love endings, but once again, Alicesoft has made me very pleased with a well done game. My wallet is open in the future for more
Amazing
Roman95
Great game with tons of content. With so many CG's to unlock and all endings, buying this game is money well spent.

It's a fairly simple and sometimes repetitive RPG, but the game is top notch in many other areas including H-content, soundtrack, voice acting, and humor. It's very evident AliceSoft put their heart and soul into this game.
Good start
Onii-chan
It actually is a good game (not that it was expected otherwise from Alicesoft). The art is good, but the kinky scenes are lacking composition and the tentacle level... well fetishes and circumstances, what can you do, :( But still good. The menus are good and intuitive, battle system is kind of simple, but it isn't necessary a minus. The characters... lets just say I really miss the shrewd lewdness of Rance and the variety in other characters. And in the end, just bring MOAR of AliceSoft games.
Sexy kunoichi

FInally, An Alicesoft game in west. And it trully feels like an game. You train your kunoichi, decide what skills you teach them. When and what you do depends on your decisions. Pretty decent world building effords, 6 endings. and to my amazement even new game+ !! And not carry your stats into new game type. You actually fight against new kainins, who has new h-scenes. Worth every penny. I just hope Alicesoft will start bringing more games from their amazing colection. A must buy for every Alicesoft fan and everyone who wants more from game than just read wall of text
Nothing ground breaking

Tl;dr If you have 35$ lying around, go for it. It’s fun, enjoyable, but no depth and this means it won’t leave a lasting impression.
Plot 3/5: Plot was okay, not great or above average, okay. I was skipping through many of the dialogue in the later areas purely because I just didn’t have an interest in it anymore. I have played three alicesoft games so far and this was by far the weakest in plot. Is it enjoyable? Yes the overall plot is okay but It never goes above and beyond. Just what it needs to continue.
Characters 4/5: Okay, this might just be me, but I really enjoyed a lot of the characters. The MC not so much but he could have been more of a dick. The girls each have their own archetype and despite being an avid lover of Tsunderes, the character with this type was too harsh in some cases, edging on the “I don’t give a shit and don’t want to do things” rather than the “Well, I mean it’s not like I want to do it but if I have to.” I don’t know if this is localization issue or purely her character was like this originally but it messed the type up. Other than those two I really enjoyed the rest, especially the bad guys. Plot wise it was okay, but character wise I enjoyed learning about the antagonists more than the protagonists surprisingly.
H-Scenes 3.5/5: They could have been a lot worse. Luckily you have 3 levels of each scene, usually each building on the last while having a major theme to it. Each girl character has a wide variety of scenes all increasing different aspects. You can even capture some enemies and do it, also you get scenes from losing to certain enemies. Overall, I don’t like H-Scenes usually, I like the idea of them but I don’t get anything from them. From what I saw I think people will enjoy them though, I personally didn’t care though but that’s me. I did like the variety though, that was very nice.
Gameplay 4/5: I have played better and that’s the only reason why the gameplay isn’t higher. I REALLY enjoyed the gameplay as I went into it. The idea is almost every event uses die, each turn (a combination of morning, afternoon, night) gives you certain dice every time. If an even needs a 6, you roll until you 1) run out of die, in which case the total number subtracts from the die number and next time you try it will be lower (eg, roll a 5, but you need a 6, next time you just need to roll a 1) this also, despite failing, refills your SP a slight amount. 2) You win the roll and get the scene, this awards you a massive refill in SP and stat boosts. Increase your libido to increase max die per turn given, rest to get more die. Morning afternoon is when this all takes place. You can even train your girls (this doesn’t need the sex stuff this is regular training). Then we move onto the battle, typical Dungeon Crawler style 1v1. Not much to say. It’s simplistic but oddly enough I enjoyed it a fair amount. I would have to, I mean I already beat the game.
Overall 3.5/5: It wasn’t a great game. But it was a fun. I don’t regret the 35$ I spent nor the time playing it.
Game is broken
cityhunterfanatic
So I go to the first mission with subaru and can't deploy her (runs after single grunt).
Just shows the two main characters and cant deploy crossing them out. I think it's because I choose the love +1 options before her character had registered. Dunno.
But after having to download two patches I'm about done with this game

P.S.
This game is pretty good, I find myself skipping the H-Scenes and just skipping straight to the gameplay. I'm not exactly how Alicesoft Manages to create games with good H-Scenes, Story, Gameplay, Characters and get away with it all (My theory is that they sold their souls to powers beyond). Although I must admit, I bought this pretty much to entice AliceSoft to bring the rest of it's games officially over to the west. I will be gifting this game whenever I get the chance and have the money to spare to other people, so I could throw even more money at AliceSoft.
