Haruhara Fuuka
A student in the protagonist’s homeroom class.
Energetic, obedient, and very gullible.

Matsuri has a habit of tricking and abusing her, but despite that, they still get along as close friends.

Through the protagonist’s coercion, Fuuka joins the Second Science Club, believing it to be a secret society of love, designed to spread happiness around the world. She is unaware of that the protagonist is its Supreme Leader.

Her position in the 2nd Science Club is ”Soldier No. 1.” However, she’s mostly useless as she usually gets knocked unconscious soon after entering battle.

Having absolutely no knowledge of sex, she completely believes that the protagonist’s evil deeds are activities to spread happiness to everyone. For that reason, her oblivious comments help to unconsciously fan the flames of lust in the protagonist.
Sasanose Matsuri
Just like Fuuka, she is in the protagonist’s homeroom class.
Has an atrocious, arrogant attitude.
Treats her close friend, Fuuka, rather poorly.

In general she’s almost always with Fuuka but, during lunchtime, she prefers to eat by herself on the rooftop with no one around.

Secretly she has a thing for her homeroom teacher, the protagonist, but just like Fuuka, she treats him poorly.

In truth, there’s been a rumor going around the academy about a transforming heroine of justice named ”Festa”. After transforming, she shows a cruelty unbefitting such a role, and uses brute force to stifle evil.

Though Festa repeatedly appears before the protagonist, they are unaware of each other’s secret identities. When Fuuka joins the Second Science Club, their relationship deteriorates, and Matsuri becomes lonely.
Hondou Sakura
Hanabatake Academy’s oddly young principal.
Following in the footsteps of the previous principal, her father, she upholds the prestige of the academy.

Gentle and at her core a level-headed, saintly person, she holds the academy and its students close to her heart.

Upon becoming the principal, Sakura relaxed the school’s regulations, creating an open-minded institution.

Given her love of flowers, as Hanabatake Academy’s name implies, she’s responsible for the vast gardens growing on the campus. In the habit of gazing at the flower gardens from her office, she often goes into a trance for long periods of time.

Sakura attended Hanabatake Academy when she was a student. Despite lacking experience with men, a mysterious encounter robbed her of her virginity.

The protagonist respects and longs for her, but the aforementioned advisor incident causes him to bear a grudge towards her.
Sahara Yuuki
Having grown up surrounded with brothers, she’s extraordinarily tomboyish.

Bears a crude personality where her fists do the talking, but at her core, she’s actually a kind and reliable person. Apparently a fan of cheap sweets, hamburgers and other types of junk food.

Embarrassed about wearing skirts and looking to feminine, she received permission from Sakura to wear a boys’ uniform. Uncomfortable with even wearing a bra, she goes about her day with her chest bound. Due to that, one could be forgiven for failing to realize her breasts are massive. That said, despite dressing like a guy, she gets angry if mistaken for one.

She secretly yearns to be more feminine, but her embarrassment and belief that she’d have an easier life as a boy causes her to hesitate.
Mizuhara Ururu
A pampered young lady, she is a short girl that speaks with a refined tone.

A complete beginner at swimming, she joins the swimming club to overcome her fear of water. However, she is such a beginner that she has a tendency to almost drown, even when using a kickboard. Despite that, she has a dream of swimming with the dolphins.

Moved by her determination as written up in the school paper, the protagonist secretly creates inventions to help her out and fulfil his role as a first-rate PE teacher.

A staunchly hard-working person, she inspires herself to be able to do anything.

While aware of sexual basics, as she is steadfast in maintaining her chastity, but as a sheltered girl unfamiliar with the outside world, she’s as naive as Fuuka.

I will say the same thing as Chaos, this game is a failure. I've paid it, I've played 1 hour and after that I skipped all the dialogues, and I will never play at this game.

This game's story does a good job in the humor department, spoofing the rapist teacher genre of hentai with some genuinely laugh out loud moments and ero scenes. The art and voice acting is all good too. Unfortunately the endings are pretty lacking, the subheroines disappear from the plot pretty fast, and you can see potential or more plot diversity that isn't taken advantage of. The story is funny, and the sex-scene scenarios are too. Unfortunately, the game feels like there is no purpose to your choices. Yes, the ending is different based on what you choose, but a large portion of the events you watch/read are the same no matter which inventions you use.

Against my intuition, I still tried this title since it was so highly rated amongst the SHS titles and I at least expected something comparable to Sexy Demon Transformation which was a surprisingly clever and charming title.Unfortunately, the Greatest Inventions was far from that. The complete story could be summarized to 'Pick invention and use it to rape random girl - repeat'. There are no routes to follow, whomever you've accidentally raped more often at the end you get an ending with. The most annoying thing wasn't even the comedy rape which I almost got used to in the SHS titles, but the complete lack of loyalty or development of the protagonist towards any girl. He just picks the next best 'female being' he meets on his way to try out his invention. I'd even go so far to say that the 'story flow' is almost identical if you just play one H-scene after another in the replay gallery. And even if the protagonist picks a girl at the end, he just wants her as an assistant to continue raping other girls. Definitely the most unlikable protagonist I've so far in a SHS title.Enjoyment of this titles depends mostly on how amusing the inventions work out in practice since there's pretty much zilch story substance. However, many of the 'invention scenes' were quite meh for me to be honest. I guess that's why I didn't get any fun out of this title.

Really enjoyed this one. All of the other SS games I own I pretty much skipped the story on, but this one had great translation and some humorous dialogue, so I ended up reading the whole thing. Also, Fuuka is probably the best designed character that SS has ever done.

Agree story is hilarious and the heroines are super moe but I wish the game was a little more complex, translation is great is totally not boring but the game is to me at least seem lacking on routes

Just finished my first playthrough and it has such a sweet ending. Gotta replay it soon for the missing scenes tho! It was a really nice eroge, great art, funny story, erotic scenes, good fab material and pretty humorous as well. You should be able to play it without regrets as long as you're able to look at it without taking it too serious. Since even the game itself doesn't take itself all that serious. Just take look at all the crazy inventions and you will see what I mean~ ^^

First of all, The Greatest Inventions of the Sexy Era! is a simple, down-to-earth H-Visual Novel, so don't expect any deep OR complicated plot. However, if you are looking for creative ways to execute an sex scene OR you are bored with traditional sex scenes, then you should definitely get this game.This game has good Art, great Voice acting and decent Music. The whole game is very light-hearted and pretty funny at times; with a welcomed touch of heartwarming in the endings. This game makes various reference to popular culture and can be viewed as a parody of the H-game genre itself.For this kind of game, the main 2 heroines were given excellent character development; making them very likeable.Overall, The Greatest Inventions of the Sexy Era! offers a good variety of sex scenarios (the scenario where one of the girls is shrank down into a minigirl is particularly interesting) & well-written character interactions/dialogues. My biggest complain is that other than the 3 main characters, every other characters were given basically no screen time and hence it feels like those characters only exist to fill in some sex scenes.
