Dead Days is excellent. Norizane's art is striking: detailed backgrounds, sometimes based on actual locations in Tokyo, and beautiful characters with varied body types and personalities. The stellar voice cast adds to their charm and likability, every player should find at least one or two favorites.The story is engaging and surprisingly grounded for a sci-fi horror setting. The true route offers a satisfying conclusion, whereas the other routes are more open ended and the side routes/bad endings can be horrifying/cruel at times, as expected by CLOCKUP. Dead Days is not as merciless and brutal as Maggot Baits but expect plenty of screaming, violence and blood (there's a filter option to censor blood and gore in the CGs).The localization is fantastic, as expected by MG. I only encountered a couple of instances of missing/duplicated single words and one untranslated line of dialogue but it's fairly self-explanatory, even if the player doesn't understand Japanese.Overall I enjoyed it thoroughly and can recommend it to anybody who can stomach darker, more serious themes and an abundance of blood, violence and some gore.

Lovable characters. Satisfying epilogue.The choices matter, contrary to Maggot Baits.The game is not as gore as MB, but some scenes are pretty disturbing. (Kiruru's route)The music is not as good as Euphoria and MB though. (except the main song which is a killer.)Overall Euphoria > Dead Days > Maggot Baits

I enjoyed the game, very engaging. The developer is very professional and it's playable on low-end PC. The soundtrack is amazing and those English subs were really very good. The dev took a while to give us English subs, but it's worth it and the main character was good, unlike other anime characters. Overall, it was the best 8/10.
