Valkyrie Ixseal / Ellis Ixsilia
A valkyrie (a type of angel) dispatched from the heavens to smite the Demon King.
With her strong sense of responsibility and her dedication to proper decorum, she comes across as a genuine honor student. She is easily tricked by semantics, which Tsuguhiko often uses to his advantage, having plenty of opportunities to tease her due to her lack of knowledge about the human world. Tsuguhiko’s dark powers cause her to become partially human and require both food and sleep, after which she develops an enormous appetite.
Completely clueless when it comes to sex, she gradually becomes educated in these matters through her experiences with Tsuguhiko. To watch over him in his everyday life, she begins attending his school and becomes the Student Council President.
Valkyrie Kyriel / Houshou Kirika
A human girl and Tsuguhiko’s kouhai, who becomes the second valkyrie, Kyriel.
Her cold demeanor can make it hard to approach her at first, but in reality, she’s very candid. While usually a level-headed girl, occasionally her emotions drive her to take more drastic action. She’s incredibly physically fit, having found successes in both martial arts and athletics, before an injury forced her to quit.
She didn’t know what a porn game was until she met Tsuguhiko, but now her dream is to become an eroge artist. That dream led her to playing several such games herself, and she is now well-versed in sexual matters.
Though she refers to Tsuguhiko as “Senpai,” their relationship is closer to that of best friends, rather than senior and junior.
Azuel
An archangel and Ixseal’s superior.
She supports the valkyrie’s fight remotely from the faraway heavens. While she treats Ixseal and Kyriel with much affection, she is the total opposite when it comes to Tsuguhiko, as the two are constantly at each other’s throats.
Bezel
A middle-aged man with an air of intelligence about him, Bezel was the one who told Tsuguhiko he was the Demon King, and encouraged his revival. He was also the right-hand man of the former Demon King.
Bezel concluded that Aidam, who had been thwarted by the valkyries each time he returned, was not fit for the title of Demon King, and so launched a plot to steal Tsuguhiko’s power for himself.
Shemzade
Bezel’s queen, she is a demon proficient in magic.
She taught Bezel how to steal the Demon King’s power, and is the one who blocked off the path between Earth and the heavens, leaving Ixseal isolated from her peers.

Oudou Tsuguhiko / Aidam, the Demon King
A young man who loves eroge, knows everything about sex, and is aiming to become a scenario writer. After meeting one of his former underlings, the demon Bezel, he learned that he was the reincarnation of the Demon King. Ever since then, he kept himself chaste, a condition of his reawakening, by limiting his desires solely to denizens of the second dimension. Though he waited for the day when he would regain his power and could reshape the world to his liking, he was ultimately betrayed by Bezel, who took those powers for himself.
When it comes to sex, he is easily excited by his own imagination, but far more so by the actual act itself. He knows where his values lie; he is by no means submissive, but nor does he disregard the other party’s wishes. While overly self-conscious, his manner of speech can come off as a little cringy.
