This game....
Golddsmith
So, a bit of context. I played this game last year, in May 2019. I'd recently broken English law by driving... drunk, without a licence. This resulted in me losing my decently powerful position at the world's biggest insurance broker, M***H. Honestly I was lost, I'd lost everything I had worked so hard to get. I'm nothing but secondary school graduate scum, I'd stolen my position from uni graduates, from the son's of rich Directors, from those that flat out knew more than I. Yet I'd lost it all in a drunken haze. It hurt more than you can imagine, kind reader. Then I played this game. Obviously I instantly connected with the MC. He loses everything through noble purpose, something I can't claim. However, I am not exaggerating however, when I say, this game, this novel - gave me the strength to pick myself up again. To try again. To understand that no matter how many time you are f*cking knocked down, you get back up again screaming 'koi'. Some may think this MC is weak or cowardy, I do feel that. However, losing your job - especailly in the situation he does, affects your personality. It warps you. Please take that from me. You do truly lose yourself. Please give this novel a chance - I promise it will haunt you years later - and if you're like me, might even change your life. :)
