Love, Journey, and Rock’n’roll!!

Shikanosuke Maejima is a student at the Missionary school, Oubi Academy. He doesn’t attend his club, he doesn’t put much effort in his studies, all he does is show up at his part time job; in short, his life could be better.

All this changes when he meets Kirari Shiino at work. Kirari is a strange girl, and soon Shikanosuke finds himself joining a punk band. This is where the story begins.

Kirari Shiino
Kirari is the vocalist of the band.
She meets Shikanosuke when she begins working at the restaurant where he works. Her family is very poor, so she works mornings and evenings to make ends meet. However, her cheerful, spontaneous attitude normally masks this hardship. Her disheveled hair and her bright smile are her trademark features.
Sarina Kashiwara
Sarina is the guitarist.
She comes from a wealthy family who funds the academy. Because of her weak constitution and her grandfather’s strict upbringing, she has very few friends. As a refined young lady, her behavior is graceful and she possesses a calm demeanor, but her will is strong. She is very good friends with Kirari and considers her irreplaceable.
Chie Isurugi
Chie is Shikanosuke’s childhood friend. She plays the drums.
She is a year older than Shikanosuke, but for family reasons she had to repeat a grade. She is also the president of the Second Literature Club, which Shikanosuke and Sarina are part of. Possibly because of what she has went through, Chie is mature, thoughtful, and acts as the voice of reason for the band. However, she also keeps a tight leash on herself, disguising her laid-back and timid nature.
Shikanosuke Maejima
Shikanosuke plays the bass.
Although he had no interest whatsoever in the band, he got caught up in the string of events and wound up a member. He used to be a member of the Tennis club, but he was forced to withdraw for various reasons. At the same time, he was dumped by his girlfriend and now lives a dejected life.

Decent but not great
wolfbreed
This is tough because overall I did enjoy this however there were just too many glaring issues that hurt my opinion on it. Firstly the full screen text box bugged me and I never could get used to it not to mention I found it difficult to read text depending on the back round yet by darkening the text box you lose the "scene" so definite minus. Next was something that surprised me because I usually pay little attention to it but there were so many I just couldn't ignore it and that's typo's and grammatical errors. Again I am as far from a grammar Nazi as you can get but there were just so many it hurt my experience. The last part that I struggled with was towards the end many things felt forced especially one particular route where the "drama" felt so dry and like they wanted to throw something in just for the sake of a sad moment yet came out so bad for me that I nearly dropped the game (was my first route). So now that the negatives are out of the way I will say the music was fantastic and seemed to fit the scenes well and really got you into the spirit. The characters are all fun and fairly well developed and I was really able to connect with them. The art style is very typical OVERDRIVE which I happen to enjoy so no complaints here and what you see in the screenshots is what you get. So overall it was a fun and decent VN but it definitely had several glaring weaknesses that I couldn't look past but I do believe it is a worth wile game for anyone interested.
It's punk
Squibeel
One of the best VN's out there, good number of routes, good music and art. Only problem you will have is the annoying full screen text box but that is simply not enough to stop the rating at a 4.

Definitly recommend this!
