Age: 22? (Birthday: ???) Height: 175cm Blood type: B
The young man without a name who protected Inui, sótano’s owner, from getting hit by a car. Also, the story’s protagonist.
He appears to have amnesia, but the doctors believe it’s only a temporary side effect of the accident. He’s carefree to a fault and overly touchy-feely. It’s not clear if he was always like that or if the accident had something to do with it. He’s bisexual, attracted to men and women, young and old, and it doesn’t take much to get him into bed at all. Sexual harassment is an everyday activity for him. He has a childish curiosity about everything and operates under an indecipherable set of principles.
”All right, I’ve got it! Let’s have sex!”
Hiroyuki Akiyama
Age:22 (Birthday: 5/4) Height: 177cm Blood type: O
A bartender at sótano. He’s a clever and caring young man who always keeps other people’s feelings in mind.
He’s sociable and good around people. He has a helpful personality and even befriends Haru right off the bat. Naturally, he’s good with women, too; but he’s actually quite shy and old-fashioned, so he doesn’t have any dating experience. He has a frank and stubborn side to him, but that earnestness makes him easily swayed by his surroundings and has caused him a lot of pain.
”No, I don’t swing that way.”
Ryu Kurosawa
Age: 27 (Birthday: 6/23) Height: 181cm Blood type B
sótano’s head bartender and pianist. He can handle just about any situation smoothly.
His customer service is flawless, and at first glance he seems like an amicable intellectual; but in reality he’s a neurotic, anti-social young man with a propensity for obsessing over cleanliness. He’s also selfish, prideful, and quick to anger. The fact that Haru is annoying, stupid, and completely lacking in tact makes Ryu hate him at first sight.
He values efficiency above all and doesn’t concern himself with appearances more than he needs to, so there’s a visible difference between his ’on’ and ’off’ modes.
”Get out of my sight.”
Maki
Age: 35? (Birthday: ???) Height: 192cm Blood type: AB
sótano’s manager and head chef. He doesn’t speak or emote much. At first glance, he might even look scary, but he’s really just a lazy giant.
His slow movements give the impression of a fearless, but calm, large-breed dog. He’s a strange person. On the rare occasion that he does open his mouth, he’ll either utter some enigmatic phrase that’s hard to classify as serious or not, or some really lame joke.
He’s technically the manager of the bar, but he leaves most of the day-to-day work of running things to Ryu. He usually hides out in the kitchen and doesn’t come out much.
His real name and other details are a mystery. According to him, he ’forgot’.
”...You made it.”
Kouichi Inui
Age: 45 (Birthday: 1/16) Height: 186cm Blood type: A
sótano’s owner.
An open-hearted, helpful man with a tendency to poke his nose into other people’s business.
He gives work to people who are having trouble or can’t get on their feet and have no place to go, but he’s got a good eye for people who’ll actually be useful. While he owns several restaurants and a detective agency, he’s an old man who lives a relatively simple, frugal lifestyle. He loves alcohol.
”Don’t be ridiculous and get back to work. I’ll take it out of your paycheck.”

I don't have to say anything else. Just do yourself a favour and play the damn game. For Hiroyuki's sake.
yeah it was pretty good

i saw a voiced clip somewhere and thought it was pretty good, so it led me to buy the whole game. and honestly, that was a pretty good choice. the story was actually pretty incredible and unfolded really well, there were times where i legitimately got choked up/was actually crying, and the characters were all pretty likable. some people have complaints about the protagonist saying he's too annoying, but as someone who gets annoyed extremely easily by dumbass protagonists, i really didn't mind him all that much. for how much it is, i would definitely recommend buying it, because you really get your money's worth and then some.
A mix of good and lackluster
beliar
NTY has a lot of things going for it. It had an obviously large budget, graphically it's impressive, has a great voice acting, and once you really complete the game, the supreme plot unravels before your eyes in all it's beauty. Alas, taken separately, every plot point seems weak, the protagonist is really annoying, some of the character routes are shallow and boring, and the need to replay even the routes you have already finished in order to fully appreciate the story, hurts the game more than it helps.

On the top ten

Really good BL game. One of the best ten BL-games I have played. Funny and art is amazing. Storyline is good too. Translationis well done. Overall great buy.
Great game!
taigoesrawr
More than just the typical BL game. It has great and memorable characters, interesting plot, and some of the smexiest "intimate" scenes (some where I didn't even expect there to be some, lol) anyways! Enjoy cause I know I am. :D
One of the best
natalieexxx
This is seriously one of the best VN's i have ever played. The translation is amazing as well and the game is just so fun that you can play it over and over without getting bored (and it really helps that all the guys are hot!!)
Very nice Anime
Lukin1971
The game is incredible. The Playingtime extremly long, especially when you want to collect all of the Clips, Pics etc. And the only Boy Anime.
I hope that there will come much more of such games.
AMAZING GAME, HANDS DOWN

I don't usually take the time to stop and write a review for most of the games I play, but No, Thank You!!! is such a fantastic gem I just have to make my appreciation known. If you've played BL games before, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of NTY and the unique twists developer Parade deliberately incorporated into this truly impressive work of art. If you haven't played a BL game before and you're checking it out because it's the first official English localised game in the genre in literally a decade, NTY is a wonderful game to start with -- you won't be disappointed. From the artwork, to the story, the gameplay that reveals more the more you play and the incredible Japanese voiceovers, every detail of NTY is well-crafted, including MangaGamer's unbelievably careful translation for their first stab at a BL title in today's market. I've begged Parade for a fandisk or a sequel or SOMETHING because NTY IS JUST THAT GOOD.
UGLY SOBBING.
audinobutt
Everything about this game was unique. I have played a lot of BL but there was something about this one that was just truly different from a lot of others. The main character for starters was completely developed in a way to where you wouldn't expect some of the things he was capable of.
When i first started this game, I was just expecting it to be one of those PwP games so I was like Whatevs let me get my yaoi on~ but then after finishing the first route and unlocking the true premise of the game, I began to play it with more of an open mind. I was surprised that most of the scenes were so lewd but like even more so than what Im used to. It was pretty vanilla but then the CGs would go the extra mile. That mile where the perverts lie. True heaven. I appreciate that the game makers decided to make this game in the format of how hetero H-games are made. I love seeing that kind of equality in different types of porn.
Anyway I hope everyone falls in love with Haru. I hope you enjoy having your heart broken over and over. And I hope you enjoy Ryu. Beause Ryu is a special bae. Okay Fujoshi nerdgasm over. BUY THIS GAME.
The Best BL Game in English

I've played all of the BL games available in English and this is hands down the best one.

Bought this game over a year ago and am just now reviewing ^o^; bUUUT I AM SO PLEASED TO SEE AN OFFICIALLY TRANSLATED AND LICENSED BL GAME! It warms my heart knowing that the original creators and artists are getting royalties for this and profiting from the faps of us Westerners. Great game, too! Bizarre and wild plot with f'ed up endings that make you want to crawl in a hole and pretend you didn't see anything... but still want to complete each other route fully. NOT TO MENTION: old guy, weird fetishes, body hair, and generally: OTHER STUFF YOU RARELY SEE IN A MAINSTREAM BL GAME; let alone a fully licensed one. I JUST WANT MORE OFFICIALLY TRANSLATED AND DECENSORED BL IN MY LIFE. Will buy THEM ALL. 10/10.
Great!

Thank you! Great game, above all praise!
Delicious story!

Can't wait to get the hardcopy of it!
Amazing

Best BL game I ever played! Incredibly emotional and deep stories. Mangagamer really needs to bring over more Bara / BL. This was incredible.
As a side note, I thought I'd be immune to Maki's route considering I disliked his character so greatly, and yet they managed to ensnare me all over again with it. If they can make me love playing a character's route that I hate, then they really are something special. I hope parade makes more!
Excellent
DarkFusion
For those who haven't tried yaoi before and want a good example to start with then you can't go wrong with this game, and if you are a fan of the genre you can't miss this. The characters are enjoyable, the story interesting, the music great and the voice acting superb especially for Haru. Well worth the purchase.

Amazing
MangaLuv
I was surprised at how invested I got into the story and the characters. The outcomes of each playthrough surprised me, especially as the story got darker as you went on, and it really showed not all stories had happy endings; in fact there's no definitive good ending as they seem to always leave it up to the imagination. Loved the sex scenes, more-so since it was uncensored. Overall, playing through most of the game (About 97% in progression), I felt very satisfied with the asking price. Over 13 hours of content if you skip repeated scenes and aimed to get most CGs and all endings. Hopefully, this encourages more translations of these types of VNs to english
WOW
Marmar
This game was brilliant! The story was amazing, the music was touching, and the artwork was beautifully done. Not to mention the voice actors did a wonderful job. I hope this company makes more yaoi games this breath taking. Sincerely, Maria USA
Fantastic!
Takopara
I just finished playing this game for three days straight. Looking back, this game had me from the very start. It introduces a very interesting feature, the "No, Thank You!" button, which determine WHICH route you get, while on-screen choices determine WHOSE route you get. It's a little confusing at first, but it grows on you after the first or second playthrough.
This game has high replay value. Once you run down all the character's routes, you realize there are so many clues, so many things you missed or the story purposely kept from you in the beginning!
Overall, No, Thank You!! was really unique and has a special place in my heart. I really, really hope Mangagamer does more BL titles!
New Obsession
SmirkingDragon
So this BL was something I wasn't expecting. I've played BL games for a very long time, and this BL Game is one of the unique ones. Unique in the best possible way of course! Some of the unique features of this game is choosing to put body hair on the characters or not. Personally I love this idea and I always kept everything on because I don't very many BL Games with body hair to begin with.
The style of this game is another thing thats unique about it. It has a wonderful style that isn't generic anime and yet isn't trying to copy off of other styles that exist. It' extremely beautiful look at and as far as anatomy issues, there might have been some but it wasn't a glaring obvious like Absolute Obedience or anything. For the most part I was not taken out of the scenes.
The characters are lovable too. Even Maki, who is quiet and basically grunts for answers. Everyone has a decent personality and Haru is a decent seme. When I mean decent he isn't that abusive and gross, like Absolute Obedience characters Kia and Loius. The best way I can describe him is a man child who enjoys sex a lot. He usually tries to maniplulate his perspective partners into getting what he wants. That said, it's more on the order of dub con.If you don't like stories with dubious consent I would not recommend because that is basically the whole story.
I was thrown off a bit by how serious this story got, because my impression was that it was a Comedy. Sometimes I felt like I was ready SVU BL edition. There are some serious subject in this BL and while it doesn't take away from the story, it's more a shock that it's in there. I suppose what makes it comedy is the way Haru approaches situations, which are indeed funny.
Anyway! 10/10 would recommend! If you like topping and men who look like men then I would totally play this game. I suggest MangaGamer license more BL games. The community defiantly needs some more english games to play.
A new high standard of BL
Telegraph
Not only does this game excel in the basics like art and story and character design but the small things are also exceptional. The amount of options available, the stylish UI, the subtle touches in the localization all add to the overall quality of this game making it far above your typical visual novel, it comes off as a very professionally made product.
Unlike other popular BL titles like Dramatical Murder this game fills a somewhat underserved niche by really presenting a realistic and down to Earth cast and story. For me that's a big plus but it's highly subjective - if you're like me though this game is what you've been waiting for.
ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY LOVE IT
Xinola
Wonderful art, a refreshing main character, and a story that you can play again and again to find new secrets! A glorious BL game that makes you feel for its characters before it goes and makes you rethink everything you know about them. We need more games like this one in English! To release this gem of a BL game in English is probably one of the smartest moves MangaGamer.com has ever made.
Wonderful!
temporaltech
We need more BL games like this in English!
I also like that this game has more masculine characters as well as the more bishounen types. It appeals to both male and female audiences, so it's just a great all around game with a LOT of features i hadn't even known were a thing until I played this game!
Buy it

First H game I ever bought, worth every penny. NTY got it all; it got a combination of Intense H Scene, intriguing story line and charming characters. A kind of game that get you reflect over your life after you finished the game. Totally recommend it for people who both want to get off and enjoy a gripping story at the same time.
Surprisingly heartwarming!
yggdrasiln
Going into No, Thank you!!! I was expected something comedic, light and fun, and while it delivers on all those fronts it also slowly drew me into the plot and characters (and serious feels that will pop out of nowhere and hit you like a freight train). Definitely high-replay value.
A Little Disappointed
IchigosDemon
Overall I enjoyed the game, and I will probably have to go back through and play all the endings and such, but it kind of left me in a state of limbo. Things were kind of confusing, and nothing ever really gets cleared up in the end. Then again, this is a LONG game, and I'm not a patient person. I played through all the good endings over two days, and I got one bad ending, so there are probably some minor details that I missed, or skipped over. I'm definitely glad I purchased this game though, and I look forward to seeing more BL content buyable in the US.
Amazing
MCNaru
The narrative feels somewhat fragmented on a first playthrough but there is a reason for that! The plot has some nice surprises and the flag system is interesting. I strongly suggest the Hiroyuki > Maki > Kouichi > Ryu order to fully enjoy the story. Some endings are very emotional. The sex is yummy and Haru is a hilariously creepy read. I'm so thankful this has been translated! A must for all BL fans (who don't dislike bara :P )
The baras I always needed
Tofu
I'm so glad mangagamer has decided to test the bl waters, and this game was definitely a great choice! I was surprised how much each character warmed up to me as I played through, and the degree to which how aggressive the protagonist is really brought a smile to my face. This is a gem of a bl game with an easygoing atmosphere, yet still intriguing story and highly amusing dialogue. Hopefully all bl fans will give the game a chance (I mean, there's even a free demo to try)!
So Good.
iamalive
This is a BL game, but it is very different from most yaoi games. You play the top, and most characters are bara. The art, story, characters, and sex scenes are all top notch. 10/10. This game appeals to a lot of people, men and women, so definitely recommend. If this does well, we will most likely get more BL games as well. There is no down side.
Definitely Recommended
Quinzelette
I like a heartwrenching feeling at the end of my stories (even though while I'm feeling them I absolutely hate it) and when I started reading NTY!!! and Haru was like "can my name be corn-on-the-cob?" I was like "no this is going to be stupid". It wasn't stupid. It hurt a lot to read, the characters were amazing, the actual premise once you get to the ending was amazing. I really hate Haru and love him at the same time. I feel like some of the sex scenes are really awkward to play out, but if you've never played a BL before it's a really good one to start off with and if you liked stuff like what Nitro+Chiral (Togainu No Chi and DmmD) produces this title by Parade should be right up your alley. It's definitely just as good and definitely worth the money.
Not your typical bl game
rayami
I had mixed feelings when I saw mangagamer was gonna release an English translation of this game but since this was a bl game I couldn't resist and decided to purchase it. Definitely not your typical bl game. The main character is a seme which I actually love for a change and I really thought I wouldn't care for Maki's and Inui's routes at all but damn, eventually they affected me in more ways than one. I really enjoyed this game. The humor, characters and story were all for the most part an enjoyable experience and I would love to see more of a variety of otomes and bl games on mangagamer.
Lovely
Purplerino
I was honestly super suprised to see mangagamer doing a bl game. I have been a fan of this game for awhile and was really shocked when I heard an English version was being released. This game is really fun and hilarious. I definitely recommend. Although it isn't your typical bl game with 'fluffy' looking characters I thought it was very refreshing, not to mention that I love bara. Good game that appeals to male and female gamers that like bl.
