Tendou Setsuna
A sort of robot, android, or cyborg, if you will - in other words, a being far removed from humanity who, upon being summoned to the land of Tokyo Babel by Lilith, was given orders to help pave the way towards Heaven.

In addition to extraordinary combat prowess and reflexes, rivaling even that of angels and demons, the nanomachines circulating in his bloodstream lend him rapid regenerative abilities. ...He is an apocryphal monster who, though a man in nature, was forced to renounce his humanity.

Rather than labeling his emotional landscape as scarce, it would be more fitting to say that his rusted heart is merely in need of a bit of oiling - after all, he had never once had to rely on feelings since his birth.
Lilith
A demon also known as the Witch of the Night.

The first woman to ever be created - preceding even Eve herself - and the first wife to Adam, though she eventually fled from this role. Lilith then lingered within the realms of Hell and the multitude of parallel worlds until she was forced to seek shelter at Tokyo Babel following the Divine Calamity... or at least it is said so.

She is an ever-elusive "phantom lady" whose thoughts and intentions remain vague at best. Though not necessarily through thick or thin, her smile nonetheless remains vibrant and unwavering. All in all, if one thing can be said about her for certain, it is that she prioritizes fun and merriment above all else.

...Lilith was the first to discover Tendou Setsuna, whom she saved not out of pity, but rather sheer curiosity.
Raziel
An angel whose name means "The Secrets of God".

She is the owner of the Sefer Raziel, a grimoire containing all the knowledge of the cosmos since Creation. Following the exile of Adam from Paradise, she entrusted him with the book to grant him wisdom.

She loves books. Whether it is a hardcover or a paperback edition, an e-book or mere scrawls on a piece of parchment, she loves them all unconditionally.

The tablet PC she cradles in her right hand is filled with myriads of e-books, including many files of dubious origins, some of which are hidden, and even password-protected.

...She is unable to recall a portion of her memories; it is unclear whether this fact leaves her genuinely unconcerned, or if she is simply sweeping the problem under the rug.

Deliberately playing the role of an airhead character, deep inside she hides her true nature of, well... a genuine airhead.
Kugutsu Sorami
Summoned for a role of a victim by the Master of the first layer of Tokyo Babel. Setsuna rescues her from the pangs of death.

Lacking memories since her arrival at the floating city, with no idea of who she should turn to or where she should go, Sorami ends up joining forces with Setsuna.
She displays naivete of staggering proportions.

The fact that she swiftly and easily accepts the existence of angels, demons, as well as the reality of her amnesia and that of an impending world-wide cataclysm stands testament to a considerable amount of backbone on her part. ...No rigid beliefs tie her down, which, in turn, enables her to be quite flexible and open-minded in dealing with people from all walks of life.

In better times, she could have had the world under her heel as a superstar idol... or so Lilith asserts.

A masterpiece
RoyalSpark
Well yeah, i am mostly giving this a 5/5 just to counter the bad review above. to me, no work is a masterpiece since you end trading negatives for positives, and no work shows that as good as Tokyo Babel does. Ayakashiboto is the work that got me into Action VN's, i enjoyed Ayaka but couldn't take it seriously enough to recommend it to anyone. On the other hand, i found Tokyo Babel's negatives to be easier to deal with as it did have a world filled with character and history which is something Ayaka lacked to a certain degree. Moreover, i would say the Antagonists in Tokyo Babel were far more developed here than Ayaka.

To conclude, this is not a proper review of any sort but i would say that you should give Tokyo Babel a chance if you ever found the time. It's a great adventure filled with adrenaline, comedy, and great Characters.
Boring.

I did like the horror aspect early in the game. I was hoping for another Saya no Uta the way it was heading. Boy was I utterly let down. 3 hours into the game I quit. Between the toaster boy, the brain damaged women, and some of the shittiest character dialog to ever grace mankind I just threw my hands up and said, "I have gone and found yet another Coμ - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku, fuck my life!" That aside the game does have some nice art and if you dredge through the rom-com the plot is decent, but by no means anything new.
