Ayano Yamauchi
Shiro’s wife who respects and loves her husband deeply.
She met her husband when she interviewed for a job at his company. She was rejected for the position, but her encounter with Shiro ended up being the first step on the path to marriage. Now, she’s a novice picture book writer and illustrator, a job she does alongside her tasks as a stay-at-home wife.
She’s from a small-ish city in Hokkaido, and she dated a man named Kazuki Segawa throughout university. He was the one she lost her virginity to.

Kazuki Segawa
Ayano’s university boyfriend.
He currently works for the fire department in his and Ayano’s hometown. While he and Ayano both wanted to get married while they were dating, after graduation, they decided to go their separate ways and broke up amicably.
Since then, Kazuki has dated several other women, but he was never able to get serious about them like he did Ayano. If possible, he’d like to get back together with Ayano and eventually marry her.
