If you're familiar with NTR genre games, then you will know that many of these games/manga/stories will follow a familiar and almost rigid formula. A beloved wife/girlfriend is placed in some sort of sexual or romantic peril, and is tested in sexual and mental ways. Eventually, she is lost in lust and madness, and basically loses her mind. The Protagonist is then left to rue his bad luck and sulk.This game follows a more "western" approach, where extramarital relations aren't necessarily done in a coerced or non consensual manner, but rather done at the urgings and fantasies of the male protagonist. The man is usually left in a deliciously painful binding between his insane lust and the painful emotions like jealousy, insecurity, worry. Essentially, this emotional pain and arousal at seeing his beautiful wife being violated is what fuels the fantasy. The dynamics of seeing your beloved wife being taken in your own marital bed is what drives the plot forward. The desire to up the ante and increase the immorality, while also endangering your love and marriage as well. This game excels in bringing to the reader the emotional and mental anguish and angst that arises from his cuckolding fantasy. It also does a great job in eroticizing the situation while making clear the darker aspects of this lifestyle. It is a welcome and refreshing break from the traditional NTR dynamics of having the wife basically mind-broken and hilariously mentally broken. The people in this game remain people throughout, and the transformation of the relationship and the mindset and view of the wife are both realistic and tantalizing. I think the game does an excellent job in highlighting why cuckolding is such a compelling yet taboo fantasy. Part of the desire is seeing how your wife would look as a sexual being, especially with other people. Seeing her body and mind react honestly is almost like testing the reality of your relationship, whether she was lying about things like your size or her satisfaction. The same emotions like jealousy and insecurity and intimidation that damage you are the some ones that light your brain and dick on fire. It's a good kind of anxious that can turn deadly in a matter of seconds. Anyways, I believe that MangaGamer has a diamond in the rough here. These kinds of works are rare in both American and the East, so they really should secure the rights to distribution for the sequels.

PLEASE PLEASE TRANSLATE THE OTHER 2 GAMES IN THE SERIES!Marina's Cuckolding Report is an S rank NTR game where you convince your wife to cuckold you. She reluctantly agrees, and from there it gets deep.It seems in Japan that actual cuckolding isn't as popular. Most cuckold or NTR in Japanese erotica generally centers around an unwilling wife who gets corrupted by a third party. MCR follows more along the traditional western cuckold definition where all parties are consenting. I thought the art was so-so, and I played with music off. The voice acting is great, which heightens the writing, which really hits the sweet spots for cuckold masochists i.e. your wife calling you while she's having sex, and playfully teasing you. The writers really seem to understand that the cuckold fetish is all about psychological torture, which MCR does exceedingly well. I still beat off to it from time to time.MCR is a short game, but the best part is after you finish the main story, you unlock extra scenes which show what happens from Marina's perspective. This seems to be a pretty common feature for Atelier Sakura NTR games, and it's brilliant. All in all, Marina's Cuckolding Report is an excellent title from the masters of NTR and cuckolding, Sakura Atelier. (Boy, do I wish their entire catalogue was translated) It will definitely screw with your head, and NTR haters will probably go insane if they ever play this game.
