Celestine Lucullus
A gracious, kind high elf with long golden hair, fair skin, and an ample bosom. She treasures peace and believes that battle is a terrible thing. She is believed to be the reincarnate of the goddess Larentia and is widely worshipped among the people of Eos. Beloved, adored, and respected by all of the people of the “Seven Shields Alliance”. LuLu
Head of the “fifth fortress” and a greatly powerful warrior. She has no problem wielding greataxes the size of her own body. This, coupled with her nimbleness as a halfling, allows her to easily topple even trolls five times her size. A sassy girl with small breasts, and a contrarian at heart with a sharp tongue. Her emotions change at the drop of a hat. She can go from pouty, to upset, to mad in the span of just a few moments. She’ll attack anyone who goes after her and will fight back with everything she has. However, she’ll quickly break into tears and become frightened once she’s been overwhelmed, and won’t hesitate to scream. A virgin.
Maia
A vagabond mercenary. Extremely experienced in combat. She’s able to live on her own without relying on others because of the tough, mercenary life she’s lived. The mercenaries under the protagonist’s command are fond of her (in many ways) for her easygoing persona. A generous and helpful person who’s a bit like an older sibling, but she’s particularly cold towards guys who try to get in her pants. A rich brat she was acting as a bodyguard for once tried to get with her, but she shot him down, and has been resented by this person ever since. Not a virgin. When she was young and just became a mercenary she once fought together with the protagonist. She believed he was a reliable man and liked him a bit.
Volt
The leader of the group of mercenaries, the “Black Dogs”. Known as the “King Mercenary”. An outlaw who works to fulfill his desires. Looks like a man in his late 30s. He possesses strong leadership skills and is also a gifted strategian. His personal combat skills are excellent, and he’s a man filled with carnal lusts at heart. He lives for the flames and struggles of war and actively spearheads the pillaging and rape of others.

A Classic

Kuroinu really is something special, the broad appeal of the characters is just great, and it definitively has a cult following for a reason. The story (for what there is) is messy, erotic and hardcore all the way through, and doesn't take its foot off the gas pedal for a second. Just the way the game's structured you pick who you're going to mess with and continue that girl's specific story, as you observe them cope with having been made a prostitute. Definitely a good pick for anyone looking for an intense game!And I think Volt is pretty cool.It's nice that the game is split up into three parts for the localization, so you can easily pick your favorite girl and try out that specific chapter, as opposed to buying all in up front like how it is in Japan. And don't worry about being lost in the story, the openings in all three chapters pretty much tell you the necessary information. Plus, the setting is a lot of fun!It's just such a major shame Liquid hasn't even reached out for localizing any of the other games in the series, or a vast majority of their library at all for a matter of fact. But at this point I'll feel lucky if Kuroinu 1 can get a physical release.HOW MANY MORE YEARS, LIQUID
