I was in the market for an inexpensive budget game and stumbled across this and gave it a go. At first I was very skeptical, but it turned out to be a solid classic RPG. Playing with keyboard is fine, but I found using a controller felt more natural. Just like an old school RPG, only there is siscon and monster girl echi along the way. The art style fits the older school style of the game.

It's only a small 5 or 6 hours, but it's a fun time throughout that time. The art is charming and quirky: the weird chibi monster designs, the cute little sister style characters, and the hand drawn or pixel art maps. The battle system isn't too complex, but the basic RPG gameplay is still enjoyable and battles never drag on for too long. The characters are mostly one note, but they can be surprisingly likable (Kodachi is best girl). The protagonist himself is downright bizarre, but he fits into the quirky nature of the setting, so it works. The plot mostly centers around a bunch of small scale adventures, so it's not particularly grand and don't expect a hugely satisfying ending, but the dialog is amusing enough to make you keep on going. I only wish that some characters had more than one H-scene, and that more monster girls had H-scenes (Only 3 have them). Nevertheless, game is great value for the price.
