Kan’u is the girl who appears before Kazuto once he’s thrown into the alternate world. She is a formidable warrior, as demonstrated by the way she drove away the bandits attacking Kazuto with her Green Dragon Crescent Blade.

She swears allegiance to Kazuto, because she believes that he is a messenger from Heaven, sent to quell the wars enveloping the world and bring peace back to the land.

She is an idealist who works hard each day to create a world where the weak can live in peace. She has a very straight-laced personality, but she’s also the type who feels embarrassed more easily than most other girls. She’s quite a jealous woman, and gets into a foul mood whenever she catches Kazuto chatting with another woman, but she also doesn’t realize that she’s acting jealous.

”For all the people who have suffered in these long wars, I, Kan Unchou, shall become a merciless blade, and smite those lawless bandits!”

”M-my lord, what are you doing!? That’s dirty...... Ngh!”

”W-w-w-w-wh-what are you saying!? I’d never do something like that......!”

Last name: Chou, First name: Hi, Common name: Yokutoku, True name: Rinrin

Chouhi appears alongside Kan’u as one of the first to meet Kazuto. Despite her small size, she’s a fiery girl capable of mowing down enemies with her Viper Spear, which stands several times her height. She may be formidable enough to fight Kan’u on even grounds, but her childish nature and mischievous pranks often cause her to be scolded by Kan’u. Still, she’s just a spoiled girl who never lets that get to her.

When not on the battlefield, she enjoys running around and playing with children, as well as catching bugs.

”Grrr! Don’t call me a midget, or I’ll blow you away!”

”Onii-chan, look, I caught a beetle!”

”I, Enhito Chou Yokutoku, have now arrived with my Viper Spear to crush the bad guys!”

Last name: Chou, First name: Un, Common Name: Shiryuu, True name: Sei

Chouun appears shortly after Kazuto, Kan’u, and Chouhi form their volunteer army, and strikes out to face over 10,000 Yellow Turbans single-handedly. When she swings her spear, it dances through the air, causing enemies to crumble beneath her, one after another. However, she does not join Kazuto’s army until later on.

She is always calm, never losing her composure. However, her tastes run considerably differently from other people: she loves menma, she views physical compatibility as the important part of relationships, and she has a bit of an off-beat personality.

”Hmm. I didn’t realize you had that kind of taste, My Lord. What a coincidence. I was interested in that myself.”

”I am Chou Shiryuu of Northern Changshang, and I have come to do My Lord’s bidding! Now fall before my spear, shed your blood, and leave your corpse behind!”

”Not so fast, Kan’u. I will pick out some clothes for you. I trust you have no objections?”
”There we go. You look splendid and cute in the clothes I picked for you. Yes, I do think I’m satisfied.”
(But they’re actually really weird clothes.)

Last name: Ba, First name: Chou, Common Name: Mouki, True name: Sui

After her father was killed in a plot by Sousou’s forces, Bachou fled to Kazuto’s faction.

In a word, she’s headstrong. One she spots her enemy, she’ll charge in headlong, even if it’s a trap, and crush them with brute force. She’s a cheerful, energetic girl, but since she was raised solely by a single man, she has a foul mouth. Yet, despite that, she knows nothing about sex, and is an extremely shy person.

”You think you can defeat me, Bachou the Splendid? Well then, let me see you try!”

”M-My Lord, I-I think I might d-d-die from e-e-embarrassment from looking like this......”

”I- it’s not that I like sex or anything, it’s just that since you want to, My Lord, I-I-I can’t really refuse......”

”I won’t let you get away with this! I’m going to kill you right now! Just you wait, you bastard!”

Last name: Kou, First name: Chuu, Common Name: Kanshou, True name: Shion

Later on, Kouchuu’s daughter is taken captive by Enshou, and she is forced to face to Kazuto’s army. Thanks to her almost superhuman skill with the bow, she gives Kazuto’s side quite a lot of trouble. However, Kazuto manages to rescue her daughter, and so Kouchuu surrenders to him. What’s more, she decides to join his faction.

Though she appears refined, and speaks in a gentle tone, she loves sex and often tempts Kazuto. She also likes to let her imagination run wild, and she tends to start panting when she imagines Kazuto and Chouhi having sex. Her daughter, Riri, often chides her for that.

”Oh my, My Lord. What are you doing here so late at night? Do you mean to say...... that you are here for my body? Hu-hu-hu......”

”Now taste the sting of The Divine Archer’s arrows!”

”Hu-hu, you’re so big, My Lord...... Shall I do something to calm it down?”

Last name: Shokatsu, First name: Ryou, Common Name: Koumei, True name: Shuri

Shokatsuryou is a young girl whom Kazuto saves from the Yellow Turbans near the beginning of the story.

Although she is quiet and reserved, she has a gentle soul. However, because she studied at Suikyou’s (all-girls) school, she is not very comfortable around men.

After Kazuto saves her from the Yellow Turbans, she warms to him, and devotes herself to him in more ways than one. Her strategic insight is second to none, and soon she becomes the chief strategist for Kazuto’s army.

Once Kazuto learns that she is in fact Koumei, he begins to believe that he might be in a parallel world.

”Hawawa, My Lord, the enemies are here!”

”I can’t understand why anyone would make the weak suffer. That’s why I studied hard?so I could protect the people with my own power....”

”Right flank, Kan’u-san, advance! Left flank, Chouhi-chan, fall back and cover our main forces! Umm, umm......Chouun-san, strike the enemy from the rear!”

Hongou Kazuto is a young man who attends St. Francessca Academy. He loves cute girls, and he’s a bit of a ladies’ man, but he holds a firm sense of moral obligation and a passionate heart, willing to risk everything for the sake of his friends.

He’s not very good at his studies, but because of his grandfather, he loves to read historical novels, and gained an eye for seeing the truth behind things. Once he gets wrapped up in the incident, he finds himself yanked from reality and thrown into another world (The world of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms).

Although he was a member of the St. Francessca Academy’s kendo club, and is by no means untrained, the superhuman abilities of the generals in the parallel world make his abilities seem insignificant. Even his allies joke that he is a weakling.
