First of all, The Greatest Inventions of the Sexy Era! is a simple, down-to-earth H-Visual Novel, so don't expect any deep OR complicated plot. However, if you are looking for creative ways to execute an sex scene OR you are bored with traditional sex scenes, then you should definitely get this game.

This game has good Art, great Voice acting and decent Music.
The whole game is very light-hearted and pretty funny at times; with a welcomed touch of heartwarming in the endings. This game makes various reference to popular culture and can be viewed as a parody of the H-game genre itself.
For this kind of game, the main 2 heroines were given excellent character development; making them very likeable.

Overall, The Greatest Inventions of the Sexy Era! offers a good variety of sex scenarios (the scenario where one of the girls is shrank down into a minigirl is particularly interesting) & well-written character interactions/dialogues. My biggest complain is that other than the 3 main characters, every other characters were given basically no screen time and hence it feels like those characters only exist to fill in some sex scenes.

Just finished my first playthrough and it has such a sweet ending. Gotta replay it soon for the missing scenes tho! It was a really nice eroge, great art, funny story, erotic scenes, good fab material and pretty humorous as well. You should be able to play it without regrets as long as you're able to look at it without taking it too serious. Since even the game itself doesn't take itself all that serious. Just take look at all the crazy inventions and you will see what I mean~ ^^

I will say the same thing as Chaos, this game is a failure. I've paid it, I've played 1 hour and after that I skipped all the dialogues, and I will never play at this game.

Against my intuition, I still tried this title since it was so highly rated amongst the SHS titles and I at least expected something comparable to Sexy Demon Transformation which was a surprisingly clever and charming title.
Unfortunately, the Greatest Inventions was far from that. The complete story could be summarized to 'Pick invention and use it to rape random girl - repeat'. There are no routes to follow, whomever you've accidentally raped more often at the end you get an ending with. The most annoying thing wasn't even the comedy rape which I almost got used to in the SHS titles, but the complete lack of loyalty or development of the protagonist towards any girl. He just picks the next best 'female being' he meets on his way to try out his invention. I'd even go so far to say that the 'story flow' is almost identical if you just play one H-scene after another in the replay gallery. And even if the protagonist picks a girl at the end, he just wants her as an assistant to continue raping other girls. Definitely the most unlikable protagonist I've so far in a SHS title.
Enjoyment of this titles depends mostly on how amusing the inventions work out in practice since there's pretty much zilch story substance. However, many of the 'invention scenes' were quite meh for me to be honest. I guess that's why I didn't get any fun out of this title.

This game's story does a good job in the humor department, spoofing the rapist teacher genre of hentai with some genuinely laugh out loud moments and ero scenes. The art and voice acting is all good too. Unfortunately the endings are pretty lacking, the subheroines disappear from the plot pretty fast, and you can see potential or more plot diversity that isn't taken advantage of. Still worth getting though.

Agree story is hilarious and the heroines are super moe but I wish the game was a little more complex, translation is great is totally not boring but the game is to me at least seem lacking on routes

The story is funny, and the sex-scene scenarios are too. Unfortunately, the game feels like there is no purpose to your choices. Yes, the ending is different based on what you choose, but a large portion of the events you watch/read are the same no matter which inventions you use.

Really enjoyed this one. All of the other SS games I own I pretty much skipped the story on, but this one had great translation and some humorous dialogue, so I ended up reading the whole thing. Also, Fuuka is probably the best designed character that SS has ever done.
